Rasmus Bækkel Fex graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Art, School of Design in 2012 with additional studies at Konstfack in Stockholm, Sweden. As a furniture designer, Fex takes a highly conceptual approach to his work and considers art and design as equals. He is always exploring and challenging the furniture genre and its boundaries and sees furniture as functional sculpture.
In 2014, he was the co-founder of the R E F O R M Design Biennale, a curated exhibition showcasing cutting edge design.
