ARV Chair

René Redzepi, head chef and founder of Noma, commissioned Studio David Thulstrup in 2018 to create a furniture collection for the Danish restaurant’s new home in Copenhagen. Thulstrup teamed up with cabinetmaker Brdr. Krüger to design the ARV Collection, a perfect balance of comfort and formal dining, made to compliment the spirit of the new Noma space, designed by the Bjarke Ingels Group.

The ARV Chair is a delicate balance of classic and contemporary and draws on iconic traditional Danish design. Crafted from Oiled Smoked Oak or Oiled White Oak and finished with a natural paper cord seat and backrest, the ARV Chair is the perfect and timeless match for this iconic restaurant. The ARV Chair is proudly crafted at Brdr. Krüger’s workshop in Værløse, Denmark.
