Hans J. Wegner Opala Floor Lamp

The Opala Floor Lamp was designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1975 as a part of a series of three bespoke lamps for the world-famous Hotel Copenhagen. A later addition to the hotel’s iconic furnishings, which included the likes of The Egg and Swan Chairs, the Opala Table Lamp was Wegner’s attempt to produce a light that was both warm and bright.

Available in sizes Midi and Maxi, the top shade and base are made of wet painted aluminum with an impact-resistant opal, high gloss acrylic bottom shade and a stem made of chrome. The Opala Lamp series is available in White, Black and Light Grey. A Max 75W or similar size LED light bulb is required.
